About Jon Conrad

A Leader For Our Community

Jon Conrad was born in Findlay, Ohio, where his parents instilled in him the values of hard work, integrity, and service. After graduating from public school and vocational training, Jon enlisted in the United States Air Force at seventeen. He served as an Integrated Avionics specialist on F-16 aircraft, responsible for maintaining critical electronic systems, and was stationed in locations around the world, including Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Following ten years of active duty and service in Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Jon joined the USAF Reserves at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. He earned degrees in Aircraft Avionics, Mechanical Engineering, and an MBA, and has spent the past 27 years building a career in the Soda Ash industry. After retiring from the military with 21 years of service, Jon served veterans as Commander of VFW Post 7798 in Bridger Valley.

Jon’s commitment to his community is reflected in his leadership roles on the Wyoming Workforce Development Council, Wyoming Parole Board, Uinta County School District Board, and several other organizations focused on economic development, education, and public service. Married to his wife Lorie for 36 years, Jon is a proud father of five. In his free time, he enjoys restoring classic cars and engines, working on mechanical projects, and researching his family’s ancestry.
